About Kyla Ralston

Kyla Ralston is the Owner and Managing Director of KRA Bahamas. With over twenty-five years of work experience, her superior work ethic, dedication, and an enviable ability to multi task have earned  her a reputation of a local real estate expert and a successful business owner. She exudes credibility, commitment and determination and strives to provide high-quality and personalized service to every client.

Kyla graduated in 1992 from Bedgebury School in Kent, England where she received her A Level’s in Theatre & Business Studies and the BHSAI designation in Equestrian Studies. As  a new graduate, in the capacity of a Scenic Artist Set Designer and Production Assistant, she worked with several TV networks such as TBS and CBS, as well as various Production Companies based in Los Angeles, New York and Nassau. Some of  the projects from that period include: “My Father My Hero” for Walt Disney,  “After the Sunset”, “Into the Blue”, “House Hunters International” show, commercials for Gillette with “Strato Films” and numerous music videos.

Kyla completed several faux finish courses in the UK before returning to the Bahamas where she started her own paint specialty business. She worked extensively on major projects throughout the Bahamas, including Caffe Matise Restaurant, as well as the restoration of the Old Fort Bay Clubhouse. She traveled to Jamaica to work for Chris Blackwell on his ‘Island Outpost hotels including ‘Strawberry Hill” and “Goldeneye”. 

In 2004, Kyla took her entrepreneurial spirit and passion for design to the world of real estate and joined ERA “Dupuch Real Estate”. Originally working as a real estate agent, she extended her practice into the property management field within a few years. While gaining her extensive real estate experience during the 7 year period, Kyla was recognized as one of only 3 realtors outside the US to qualify for the highest certification in ERA’s luxury real estate division, the ERA International Collection.

Working as a freelance property manager for many years have helped Kyla grow her portfolio tremendously. With her impressive list of clients and contacts in the real estate industry and an increasing demand for property management business, Kyla decided to further advance her career as a business owner. In 2012, she opened “Kyla Ralston & Associates Ltd.”  that today manages several multiple unit properties as well as many individual homes. Kyla’s combination of experience, knowledge and personality have led to the expansion of her business into sales and rental business under the name “KRA Bahamas”.

Kyla is a Certified Real Estate Specialist (CRS) in addition to holding a Brokers designation (BRI) in the Bahamas.

In her free time, Kyla enjoys golf, pilates and barre classes, cooking, traveling and hanging out with her rescue animals.
