About Jorge Mauricio

Born in Havana, Cuba, Jorge’s journey to The Bahamas is defined by adaptability, perseverance, and a deep respect for opportunity. Early in his life, a pivotal chapter brought Jorge to Nassau, where he continued his education at St. Andrew’s School before pursuing accounting and business studies abroad. He holds an Associate in Science in Accounting from Bentley College and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Miami.

Jorge began his professional career working within his family enterprise, where he developed a strong foundation in operations, financial discipline, and relationship management. These early experiences shaped his methodical approach to business and his appreciation for long-term value—skills that later translated seamlessly into real estate.

After becoming a Bahamian citizen, Jorge entered the real estate industry with Century 21, ultimately earning his broker’s license and founding El Dorado Realty. He has also held senior property management roles, including Rawson Court Condominium, and currently oversees Love Beach Colony East and West.

Jorge is known for his integrity, clear communication, and commitment to making sure clients fully understand every rule, regulation, and decision point in the process. Fluent in Spanish with working knowledge of French, he brings cultural fluency and seasoned perspective to every relationship.

He loves the ocean, the warmth of the Bahamian people, and the life he’s built here. Outside of work, you’ll find him spearfishing, playing tennis, or enjoying classic films with his wife, Gladys. He is a proud Roman Catholic and active member of his church community.
